Xtreme Fighting Championships returns to the Knoxville Civic Coliseum on September 28th for XFC 20: High Octane. The eight fight card will be headlined by a lightweight clash between Eric Reynolds and Danny Salinas. Reynolds (15-5) will look to improve to 3-0 under the XFC banner against the powerful Salinas (11-4). A win by Reynolds could set-up a meeting with the undefeated Nick Newell for the lightweight title. Likewise a win by the XFC newcomer Salinas will put the rest of the lightweight division on notice.
Tennessee fan favorites Chris Coggins and Scott Holtzman will square off in the co-main event of the evening. Despite having just two professional bouts under his belt Holtzman (2-0) has made quite an impression inside the XFC cage. He submitted Brandon Demastes at XFC 16 then recorded a technical knockout of Matt Metts at XFC 18. The more experienced Coggins (6-2) will undoubtedly be the toughest test of Holtzman’s young career. Coggins has four career wins by submission including a first round armbar of Austin Lyons most recently at Empire Fights 3 in June.
XFC 20: High Octage will be televised live on AXStv (formerly HDNet) beginning at 9:00pm ET.
