Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has signed a multi-fight agreement with the World Series of Fighting. Johnson is set to square off against D.J. Linderman in a light heavyweight bout at the WSOF debut event on November 3rd.
Johnson (13-4), an 11 fight UFC veteran, enters the bout on a three fight winning streak. He most recently competed at Xtreme Fight Night 9 in September where he scored a second round technical knockout of Jake Rosholt. The powerful Johnson has won nine of his career fights by knockout or technical knockout. The Bellator veteran Linderman (14-3) has also won his last three bouts. He is coming off a second round technical knockout of Dale Mitchell at Legacy Fighting Championship 12 in June.
WSOF 1, which takes place from the from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, will be televised live on NBC Sports at 10:30pm ET. The event will be headlined by a heavyweight bout matching Andrei Arlovski and Devin Cole.
