UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey successfully defended her title with a first round knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC 190 in Brazil. Rousey needed just 34 seconds to dispatch of Correia behind a flurry of strikes against the cage. Rousey landed a right hand to the temple of Correia which crumpled the Brazilian leaving her face first on the mat. With the win Rousey improves to 12-0 with six wins inside the octagon. The loss would be the first of Correia’s career as her record drops to 9-1.
