The professional competitors for Battle Zone FC 15 this weekend have been cleared to compete by Safe MMA. The event takes place tomorrow night at the Trinity Sports Centre in Donaghmede in the Republic of Ireland.
The professional competitors that have been approved by Safe MMA are as follows:
Safe MMA criteria dictates that professional MMA fighters should pass annual medical examinations and tests for blood borne viruses in order to compete on affiliated shows and requires a minimum level of onsite medical care. The non-profit organisation provides medical consultancy and services to national governing body, the Irish Amateur Pankration Association (IAPA).
Battle Zone FC 15 falls a month after the IAPA agreed to new safety criteria for commercial and non commercial MMA events at professional, amateur and grass roots levels. Read more here: http://www.immaf.org/iapa-sets-new-irish-mma-safety-regulations/
