Patrick Cote vs. Kalib Starnes set to headline Ringside MMA in April

A pair of former UFC middleweights, Patrick “The Predator” Cote and Kalib Starnes, will be headlining the Ringside MMA event in Montreal on April 9th as reported by MMAWeekly.com.

This will be Cote’s first fight since being released from the UFC in October following three straight losses inside the octagon. Cote (13-7) suffered a knee injury at UFC 90 in Oct. 2008 during his title fight against champion Anderson Silva. This injury kept him out of action until 2010 which saw him lose both of his fights – to Alan Belcher and Tom Lawlor.

Starnes (11-5-1) has gone 3-2 since his release from the UFC in 2008. He will hope to put together a winning streak after alternating between winning and losing during these last five fights.
