31 OCTOBER 2015
Celebrated European mixed martial arts organisation, Poland’s KSW makes history with its first ever international show tomorrow night at the renowned The SSE Arena, Wembley in London, England. For the first time live on British soil MMA aficionados will be able to witness spectacular combat sports action from KSW, featuring some of Europe’s most exciting fighters.
“KSW 32: Road to Wembley” also breaks new ground as the promotion partners with UK non-profit, medical organisation, Safe MMA. All competitors will have been medically cleared to compete by Safe MMA doctors, having undergone tests for blood borne viruses and with British nationals and residents having undergone annual medical examinations.
In line with Safe MMA criteria all competitors will undergo pre and post-fight medical examinations carried out by a doctor at the event and KSW has agreed to meet onsite medical safety standards. Injury suspensions will be issued to Safe MMA for publication and honoured by the promotion.
See below for the list of KSW competitors on track to full medical clearance in time for tomorrow night’s show, with just two final sets of medical results pending clearance.
CEO Martin Lewandowski commented:
“We are very happy work with Safe MMA at our first KSW show in England. When we decided to organize a show on the UK soil, working with the only medical organization that looks after fighter protection was a natural step for us.
We appreciate Safe MMA’s professional approach to fighter health and safety, since this issue is also very important for our promotion and similar procedures have been introduced at our events in Poland for many years as well.”
