The United Kingdom Mixed Martial Arts Federation (UKMMAF) have confirmed their national team members who will be representing the UK at the 2016 IMMAF World Championships of Amatuer MMA. The event will take place from Tuesday, July 5 – Sunday, July 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in conjunction with the 5th Annual UFC International Fight Week and Fan Expo.
This past weekend, the complete UK team participated in their final squad training session before they fly out to the USA next month. Heavy Duty Fight Gear Ltd have provided the team with their official kit for the competition, as part of a partnership deal.

Welterweight athlete, Hardeep Rai, commented:
“I’m going to give everything I have in Vegas and leave it all in the cage – I’ll come back home to England with a gold medal around my neck.”
UKMMAF’s Team Leader, Nigel Burgess said:
“Our final team training session was great. Everybody was on point, and they all looked great in the team kit. Everybody is ready – and we plan to return home with some medals! ”
In 2015 the UKMMAF amateur team attended the IMMAF World Championships in Las Vegas, during International Fight Week, taking home a gold, silver and a bronze medal.
