The Bellator Fighting Championships annouced today that Tony Johnson Jr. will be joining their heavyweight roster. Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney stated on the official release at Bellator.com,
He’s one of the top heavyweight prospects in the world right now, and will make a great addition to our already impressive heavyweight lineup.
Johnson (5-1), a former King of the Cage Champion, will make his debut at Bellator 41 when he takes on undefeated Carlos Flores. Despite holding already hold a title in his young career, Johnson is not resting on his laurels as he takes aim at the Bellator heavyweight tournament.
