Bellator confirms Kenny Foster and Zac George for Featherweight Tournament

The Bellator Fighting Championships officially announced that Kenny “The Tooth Fairy” Foster and Zac “The Red Devil” George will be competing in their Season 4 Featherweight Tournament. The tournament is slated to begin in March and it will be shown live on MTV2.

Foster (8-2) last competed at Bellator 33 in Oct. 2010 where he earned a unanimous decision over Lester Caslow. Foster is ready to prove that be belongs as one of the elite featherweights. Foster states on the release;

We’re all here for a reason and you don’t just end up in one of these tournaments because you got lucky. You’re there because you are one of the top guys in your division. Winning this thing would mean the world to me. It would prove that I have achieved an elite status in my profession. It would prove that I’m one of the very best.

George (20-3) who will making his Bellator debut enters the tournament on a six fight winning streak. However, he has not competed since Oct. 2009 but that does not diminish his confident as be tells;

It’s going to mean the world to me “when” I win this tournament…There is no “if” in my mind. I wouldn’t enter this thing if I didn’t know that I was going to go out there and stomp on some guys. I’m going to go out there and put on some exciting fights, beat these guys up, and make a living while I’m at it.

Foster and George join Eric Larkin as the three confirmed participants for the featherweight tournament.
