Bellator adds Joe Riggs to their middleweight roster

The Bellator Fighting Championships announced today that they have signed middleweight Joe “Diesel” Riggs in time for their Season 4 which begins in March.

Riggs (34-11) is a mixed martial arts veteran of numerous promotions including the UFC, Strikeforce and is also a former WEC middleweight champion. He holds notable wins over Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz, Phil Baroni, Chris Lytle, Joe Doerkson and Kendall Grove. Riggs is currently on a two fight winning steak and according to the Bellator press release is looking forward to the upcoming season.

This is the healthiest and the happiest that I can ever remember being in my life. I’m in the prime of my life, I’m injury-free, and things have just really come together in my life. I just can’t wait to show everyone what I have.
