Former University of Missouri wrestler Michael Chandler remained undefeated in his mixed martial arts career with a first round submission win over Marcin Held in the Bellator lightweight tournament. The action went to the ground earlier and the 19 year old Held looked to have a kneebar locked in tight on Chandler. However, Chandler was able to escape and work his way into the guard of Held who was very active from the bottom. Held looked for an armbar several times but Chandler was punishing him from the top. Chandler was able to pass guard and sink in an arm triangle that eventually put Held to sleep. Chandler advances to the semifinals with the technical submission win.
