Bellator boosts roster with bantamweight Rafael Silva and lightweight Guillaume DeLorenzi

bellator fighting championships logoThe Bellator Fighting Championships continues to inject new talent into their fighter roster. Bellator announced today that they have signed bantamweight Rafael Silva and lightweight Guillaume DeLorenzi.

Silva (17-3) will bring a nine fight winning streak to the Bellator Cage. A Renovacao Fight Team member, Silva, has recorded seven wins apiece via submission and knockout. He stated, “Signing with Bellator is by far the best thing that ever happened to me. It’s a chance of showing the world what I can do inside the cage.” in his last outing Silva needed just seven seconds to dispose of Mauricio da Silva by head kick knockout.

Canadian DeLorenzi (9-1) has established himself as a knockout artist after finishing eight of his opponents. He is expected to make his Bellator later this year and he has his sites set on the next lightweight tournament. “All I’m thinking about is collecting some victories and getting into the next lightweight tournament. It’s a huge honor to be fighting with Bellator, and I want that belt,” said DeLorenzi.
