Joe Warren is set to defend his featherweight title against two-time tournament winner Pat Curran in the main event of Bellator 60 on Friday, March 9th. In addition, Bellator 60 includes the quarterfinal round of the eight-man Season 6 featherweight tournament.
Bellator 60 takes place from The Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana. The preliminary card will stream live on Spike.com at 7:00pm ET and the main card will air on MTV2 and EPIX HD at 8:00pm ET. The fight results will be updated below following each bout.

Genair da Silva vs. Bobby Reardanz
da Silva defeated Reardanz by technical knockout at 0:51 of the third round. This was a 148-pound catchweight bout after da Silva failed to make weight and was removed from the featherweight tournament. Da Silva utilized leg kicks to punish Reardanz as he knocked him off his feet four times in the second round.
Alexandre Bezerra vs. Kenny Foster (Featherweight Quarterfinal)
Bezerra defeated Foster by rear-naked choke submission at 4:57 of the second round. Bezerra got takedown with 30 seconds left in the second round then quickly attacked with punches from behind. He was able to slip on the choke to force the tap from Foster with just 3 seconds left in the round. Bezerra advances to the semifinals of the featherweight tournament.
Shamar Bailey vs. Josh Shockley (Catchweight 165 pounds)
Shockley defeated Bailey by unanimous decision (no scores were announced). Shockley’s wrestling and top control carried him to the unanimous decision as Bailey had no answer from his back.
Marlon Sandro vs. Roberto Vargas (Featherweight Quarterfinal)
Sandro defeated Vargas by rear-naked choke submission at 3:35 of the first round. Strikes from Sandro rocked Vargas two minutes into the bout and he looked for the finish. Vargas put up a fight to survive but Sandro standup was too much with accurate strikes along with a flying knee. One the fight hit the ground Sandro was quickly able to get Vargas’ back to finish with the choke. With the win Sandro advances to the semifinals of the featherweight tournament.
Ronnie Mann vs. Mike Corey (Featherweight Quarterfinal)
Corey defeated Mann by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). Corey survived trouble in the first round as Mann dropped him twice with big fight hands. Corey would take take the fight to the ground in the second and third rounds where he controlled Mann with suffocating wrestling and top control. Corey advances to the semifinals of the featherweight tournament.
Daniel Straus vs. Jeremy Spoon (Featherweight Quarterfinal)
Strauss defeated Spoon by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28). Strauss hands Spoon the first loss of his career as he advances to the featherweight tournament semifinals. It was a very close fight in which Strauss pushed the pace standing while showcasing solid takedown defense.
Joe Warren vs. Pat Curran (Featherweight Championship)
Curran defeated Warren by knockout at 1:25 of the third round to become the new Bellator featherweight champion.
Curran staggered Warren with a headkick toward the end of the first round. He followed up for the finish but Warren was able to survive and finish out the round strong. Warren, a wrestling specialist, attacked relentlessly looking to get the fight to the ground throughout the fight. However, the bigger Curran was able to sprawl effectively and when the fight did hit the ground he quickly returned to his feet. In the third round, Warren looked to close the distance just as Curran was throwing a knee. Warren walked right into it which hurt him bad as he staggered back against the cage. Curran unleashed a vicious attack as Warren turned his back to avoid more punishment. Unfortunately for him a flurry of strikes and knees from Curran ensued as the referee let the fight continue a little longer than necessary.
Sean McCorkle vs. Richard White (Catchweight 280 pounds)
McCorkle defeated White by neck-crank submission at 1:02 of the first round.
Travis Wiuff vs. Anthony Gomez (Catchweight 215 pounds)
Wiuff defeated Gomez by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
Cory Galloway vs. Jake Nauracy
Nauracy defeated Galloway by rear-naked choke submission at 4:22 of the second round. Nauracy earns the win in his professional MMA debut.
